Large Animal (cattle, sheep, goats), Small Animal (pigs, rabbits, poultry), Dairy, Vegetable, Fruit/OrchardPlease summarize your long-term goals regarding your land:
My long term goal is to facilitate keeping the land I own operational as a small, diversified farming operation into the foreseeable future. I plan on doing that by the gradual transfer of stewardship and, ultimately, ownership responsibilities to a younger generation farmer. Please note that the current leaseholders are in the process of transitioning to a larger farm recently acquired by their extended family and will be finishing out the 2023 harvest season on the farm. What kind of additional training/information would help you with the transfer process? Please check all that apply and feel free to elaborate below.
