Would you be willing to mentor or advise the entering farmer or rancher?

Please elaborate on your willingness to mentor or advise the entering farmer or rancher:

Looking to rent this beautiful spot with southern exposure, gravity flow irrigation, amazing views, beautiful home, great location and access to markets. We intend to use the yurt on the land to retreat to from our Missoula home, but that space is negotiable depending on the situation/people.

Are you currently living on the farm or ranch?

In your judgment, which crops/agricultural purposes are best suited to your land and which would you support on your land?

Hay & Forage, Small Animal (pigs, rabbits, poultry), Vegetable, Fruit/Orchard

Please summarize your long-term goals regarding your land:

This land is lovely southern exposure land with gravity flow irrigation, a hoophouse, drip irrigation, strawberries, asparagus, mature fruit trees, and a large raspberry patch that has hosted a upick and been harvested for market for the past 4 years. It is a mile away from EWAM garden of 1000 Buddhas, has hiking out the door, and is an area with a flourishing Growers Cooperative and many markets. Due to a variety of circumstances we are moving to Missoula and wish to see the farm managed by folks who will appreciate the beauty, the infrastructure, and the potential of this place. We intend to rent the entire home and shop for a minimum of 1 year and up to 3 years. We are open to including our Kubota MX5100 and cultivating equipment as part of the rental agreement. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to enter the market, establish a name for themselves, and live in a beautiful place. We are willing to offer mentorship or stay out of your way.
