YesIn your judgment, which crops/agricultural purposes are best suited to your land and which would you support on your land?
Hay & Forage, Large Animal (cattle, sheep, goats), DairyPlease summarize your long-term goals regarding your land:
I would prefer a large animal operation with horses or cattle. I have maintained 3 horses on the property and grown significant hay to carry them through most of the winter months. We kept them in separated paddock area through April, May, and June while grass hay grew and matured. We cut and baled usually by July 4th, then we began winter feeding program. The farmer will have access to the property and the barn, but daily operations and maintenance will be their responsibility. When we are home, we will call if we see anything amiss, but will not accept responsibility for any part of there operation or maintenance.
