I have several jobs but I consider ranching my main career. I run about 50 head of Red angus/simmental cows. I run them with my Dad in the winter and lease pasture in the summer. We are located about 8 miles south of Opheim, and lease pasture in various locations around the area. I am also a part time Vo-ag teacher at Opheim High School where I try to use my own experiences to teach my student about Ag. Lastly I have been running a small construction business using my carpenter skills to complete many projects for neighbors and the surrounding community. I have been working with my Dad on the ranch my whole life and have helped and worked for many other Farms and ranches in the area. I have a BS degree in Industrial Technology Secondary Ed. I have also worked for many different construction company, one is Brabeck Construction. I have experience in many fields and am trying to expand my ranch. My wife Hanna is currently working for the US postal service, and she helps as much as she can on the Ranch. We are trying to expand and be able to just concentrate on working the ranch without other outside occupations. We just had our first child, Howard, and are raising our two nephews.

I plan on have a cow/calf operation, and continue to raise Simm/angus cattle. We calve in March and April, and sell our calves in the fall. We are open to suggestions and want to improve anywhere that we can.
