We market our calves in early summer and ship in late October. We have 3160 acres. On an average year we put up around 1400 round bales. This is enough for our use and we generally budget to sell around 200 ton of hay. Our ranch is located in Central Montana. I am involved in general management and decision making in long term and day to day operations. I own 40 commercial cows and recently invested in 10 registered hereford heifers.
