New to western Montana; currently employed with Watershed Consulting (sustainable forestry, riparian restoration, timberframing, and arborist services), and owner of Chisel & Mallet Woodworking (remodels, custom woodworking, timberframes). Partner currently works at Bitterroot Flower Shop; has experience in non-profit program management. Both have experience with small-scale (1-5 acre) organic and sustainable vegetable farming, orchard management, greenhouse/nursery work (3+ years), small livestock husbandry (chickens and goats), etc.

Looking to create a small scale, well-diversified family farm that promotes land stewardship. Veggies, berries, small orchard, nursery/restoration plants, small-med livestock, etc.

We plan on using sustainable farming practices, and will consider organic certification. Focus on no/low-till, soil building, pollinator health/habitat, carbon sequestration, water conservation, and producing high-quality, delicious farm products!
