I currently own and operate a wildfire mitigation company in Helena, MT. On a daily basis I am working in the outdoors running power equipment tools and equipment

We are raising laying hens and an organic garden in our small rental space in town and am looking to begin a small sustainable farming operation near town. I have experience running a large variety of equipment and farm type implements and have vast experience in the outdoors. Hoping to maybe also begin a small farm to table operation.

I hope to begin a smaller farm type operation that is low impact and potentially on the organic side. Ultimately I would like to use alternative energy and self sustaining practices on the farm to reduce our imprint. I am not exactly sure on what crops I would like to grow but something that produces well in this region and is in demand. Maybe grow organic crops to support local resteraunts. I would also like to raise a small number of cattle,pigs, chickens etc.
