Briefly describe your current occupation(s) and responsibilities and list previous agricultural employment and experiences. If you are currently farming or ranching, please state the size, type(s), and location of the operation.I am currently a mental health professional but I have always had the dream and desire to be a rancher and sell beef to the highest bidder and possibly keep a self sustaining farm. The farm I learned at was a 5 acre farm where we were taught animal herdsman ship as well as daily duties of cleaning and caring for all the animals. Part of our grades was to raise animals from young and monitor and maintain the health until the animal reached a mature age to be taken to the market for a fair price of profit. After the trade we had to write a thesis on the final outcomes and profit and loss. The maximum head of cattle we had at the farm was 25 and sheep was 10. Pigs were 10.

Please elaborate on the type(s) of agricultural operation you plan on running.I would like to plant 150 apple trees and have many acres of corn and potatoes to harvest organically. I would like to keep the pesticides and chemicals that come with the standard conventional farm to a bare minimum and go back to my grandfathers days of farming and harvesting where he sold his goods to local markets in Kansas. I believe these are the things that are missing today.
