Briefly describe your current occupation(s) and responsibilities and list previous agricultural employment and experiences. If you are currently farming or ranching, please state the size, type(s), and location of the operation.I currently run a leased cut flower operation in Bozeman that's profitable and in its second year. I have a degree in Sustainable Crop Production from MSU, and was the Marketing Manager with production and teaching responsibilities at MSU's organic learning farm, Towne's Harvest Garden. I was the assitant manager at 3 Hearts Farm as well. I've mostly worked on organic, market/csa based vegetable and cut flower production farms.
My current operation is primarily in high tunnel production, field production, pastured layers, and bees. My current markets are three farmers markets and a CSA program.

Planned OperationLarge Animal (cattle, sheep, goats), Small Animal (pigs, rabbits, poultry), Vegetable, Fruit/Orchard
Please elaborate on the type(s) of agricultural operation you plan on running.I plan on starting an organic or certified naturally grown vegetable and cut flower operation at first, then expanding out into sheep, poultry and cows. Depending on the location, markets would include Bozeman, Livingston, and Big TImber area. I would love to focus on storage crops to sell into a distributor and to supply grocery stores and restaurants through the winter. Agrotourism and teaching is currently and has been a big part of my business and what I think is important and I plan to continue that pattern.
I would love to run a farm with a large amount of diversity over time.
