We are interested in expanding Soil Cycle's compost operation. Soil Cycle is a food-waste and environmental non-profit in Missoula. We run a small compost operation on 1st street currently and looking to expand where we can make more compost for the community. We are also interested in having land to host mini food scrap drop-off bins.

Please elaborate on the type(s) of agricultural operation you plan on running.

We would like to make compost in windrows (long rows) using a small tractor or Bobcat. We would be making compost, mix soil, and bag it onsite. We would also be interested in a small garden and chickens. We would like to be able to divert as much organic matter away from the landfill as possible. We would also like to offer some workshops about compost and soil at the space.

If you are interested in another type of business arrangement, please explain

We would be happy to share compost and help with the land as an arrangement. Since our non-profit has very little funds, we would love to have a creative arrangement.
