I have been In the small orchard and farm business since 2016. I was hired by a local golf course to maintain their cherry orchard. After completing a summer there, I found a local heirloom orchard and immersed myself in the knowledge from the owner in a informal apprenticeship. I then began my own small farming operation at home. I ran my own small farm/orchard in the coeur d' alene idaho area for two years. Unfortunately I was unable to stay in the home i was farming in and had to move. I was unable to find anything to rent in the area after that. I have currently changed my occupation to be able to hopefully afford a new farming operation one day. I am looking for an opportunity to buy/lease/inherit a farm or orchard that just needs some fresh blood. Especially an established orchard where the owners would love to find someone who will carry on their dream.
