Employed part time seasonally through the county, as well as raising my own sheep and goats for meat sales, and partnering with landowners to graze/manage damaged land. The operation is small, about 20 head, currently on an 80 acre plot, partially irrigated.

Please elaborate on the type(s) of agricultural operation you plan on running.

I hope to manage my operation as holistically as possible, with mindfulness to the ecology of the land, not just as a resource extractive business. My focus is livestock, having little to no experience in crop farming, but I do hope to partner with a farmer or landowner that can assist me in expanding my knowledge base while also establishing an income producing operation.

Elaborate on the farming practices you plan on using.

I rotationally graze with temporary electric fencing, attempting to minimize negative impacts on the land and utilize browsing action to stimulate growth. This would ideally be combined with irrigating where possible, and haying operation if feasible, or even a crop rotation if a partner with the expertise can be found.
