I currently am a farmer on five acres in Hawaii, my current lease is looking to sell and I am looking for a new location with access to plenty of customers and a secure ag lease. I am a hard worker and interested in expanding my chicken operation to eventually include grass-fed lamb and beef. I am a hard worker and keep to myself. Looking for land to lease and someone who wants to let me take the reigns and have a hands-off approach to leasing. I am interested in eventually becoming organic certified and I follow regenerative methods such as no-till, and intensive rotational grazing.

Please elaborate on the type(s) of agricultural operation you plan on running.

I plan on expanding my chicken operation as well as possibly pastured pork and beef or lamb and beef.

Elaborate on the farming practices you plan on using.

I follow a Joel Salatin-esque rotational grazing style where I house my broiler chickens in mobile coops and rotate them over new pasture daily, I plan on expanding to a multi-species grazing model where the chicken coops follow cattle and neutralize the manure. Looking into raising dexter cattle, as they work well for beef shares/direct-to-customer cuts.

Please elaborate on the kind of additional training/information that would help you:

I don't think I need much additional training, I already have a solid model that works but will need to be adjusted to work with the Montana climate/weather. Hoping to network with some other farmers though to get advice on markets and customer base in the area.
