Currently I work remotely helping others obtain mortgage financing, and also consult and structure acquisition and exit strategies for investor clients nationwide. I was raised with chickens, small animals, and horses. I grew up around dairy. Informal Apprenticeship with Raw Milk producer certified by Raw Milk Institute where learned best practices, needs, skills and quality control testing and record keeping. Also touched on marketing and maintenance. I have a passion for quality food and whole animal utilization. I have harvested and processed chickens and pigs including, curing, smoking, charcuterie and sausage making.

Please elaborate on the type(s) of agricultural operation you plan on running.

I’m looking to establish and run an organic heritage pastured pork operation utilizing permaculture and intensive rotational grazing practices. Striving to be as vertically integrated as possible in order to ensure quality of processing and product to our customers. In addition to selling shares of livestock I would also look to preserving and make shelf stable pork products with proven traditional methods. Additional value adds through complimentary animal husbandry and their products as well as workshops and allowable agritourism.

I would like to know production level, practices and maintenance of existing pastures (if any) owner is aware of or is utilizing, as well as any existing certifications (ie. organic)

I’m looking to establish and/or improve existing pasture and forage. Rotationally graze pigs through pasture paddocks, run chickens behind the pigs to assist in clean paddocks and further improve pasture health. I’m also interested in utilizing heritage chickens to help provide an additional faster income producing opportunity.
