The worker would have a room in the the farm house and a shared bathroom. A lease agreement for the housing benefit will have to be reviewed and signed by the worker.

Our family has grown berries in Gallatin valley for over 10 years and we are finally ready to expand our operation. We are motivated to supply our community with fresh, delicious berries.

Describe the physical setting of your farm and the nature of the community in which you live

Bridger Berries is located in Springhill north of Bozeman. We have a few acres, barn shed and old farm house. Its a 15 minute drive to town or to get Lost in the mountains.

Describe your farm operation

Bridger Berries is a small farm that produces raspberries, currants, strawberries, and more. We are an organic farm and working on our USDA certification. We grow our produce for the Gallatin Valley farmer's markets, restaurants, meadery, and breweries.

Pruning, transplanting, watering, picking and packaging, deliveries

What do you expect of a worker?

Schedule is based on efficiency of the worker: base schedule is to work 4 hour shifts 5 days a week (M, W, Th, F, S)
There is unpaid time off if needed. The work season is from June-September.

Describe the learning and educational opportunities available to a worker

Workers will learn valuable skills of berry production. Farm skills include planting, irrigation, and harvesting.
