Please elaborate on the type(s) of agricultural operation you plan on running.

I plan to have a diverse traditional farm. One that uses biological farming to facilitate a fully functioning ecosystem. As many different kinds of animals and produce products as we can reasonably, sustainably and profitably raise. That's my end goal.

Elaborate on the farming practices you plan on using.

Regenerative ones. Intensive rotational grazing. Planting pastures with perennial grasses. Increasing diversity to attract pollinators, birds and other forms of life. Plan to grass finish beef and lamb. Use laying hens to follow behind the grazing cattle. Would like to plant fruit trees. Interested in vermicomposting as well. The plan is to start small and scale with profits and experience. Investing back into the soil and the operation.

If you are interested in another type of business arrangement, please explain

Open to possibilities.

Please elaborate on the kind of additional training/information that would help you:

I'm currently working with a SCORE mentor to help with a business plan. I would like to go to Ranching for Profit in the near future. I'm open to learning what I need to be successful and enjoy learning by doing as well.
