Annuals and quick turn over specialty crops such as vegetables, herbs and flowers would be what works best on our land. We can explore and talk about other perennial and more permanent structures if all parties agree in the land management and any future plans of the property. Please summarize your long-term goals regarding your land:
We a small farm currently operating a flower, herb and vegetable production. We are looking for someone that wants to rent our guesthouse space, that is interested in living and possibly working on our farm. This next season, we are taking a step back from production farming to reassess market demands, and new business outlets. This ideally would be someone that either has an offsite job, that would just be looking to occasionally help with farm chores or tasks, farm sitting opportunities to reduce their monthly rent and basically just have the opportunity to live closely with our small family and work collaboratively together through the seasons. The other option is for someone looking to live in our rental, who would be interested in exploring or running a section of our land for their own production trials. We are open to someone that just wants to run a garden of their own, or someone that wants to have a small production for selling in local markets and outlets, understanding that it would need to be a system that is grown and approved by our standards and aspirations for our property.Currently the guesthouse is fully furnished, but can be removed if needed!
