Briefly describe your current occupation(s) and responsibilities and list previous agricultural employment and experiences. If you are currently farming or ranching, please state the size, type(s), and location of the operation.

I am working as an engineer and would like to return to raising livestock as a first-generation rancher, together with my wife and four young kids. My training is both theoretical and practical, from a Bachelor of Science degree and several years working as a technician.
While growing up in Montana I owned several sheep and other farm animals, and I participated in 4H livestock projects for around 8 years. I regularly cared for neighbors’ horses and cattle. As an outdoorsman, I am passionate about responsible conservation of the land.

Please elaborate on the type(s) of agricultural operation you plan on running.

My goal is to develop a commercial ranching operation in Montana for producing cattle, hay, and other meat animals, to provide high quality food to people.
My goal is to create a sustainable future for my kids, by responsibly managing land/grazing and wildlife interfaces.

If you are interested in another type of business arrangement, please explain

I seek an opportunity to become a first-generation rancher, for my family to eventually own, occupy, and manage a ranching operation.
