I am currently doing an internship on a local farm where I care for the animals on the property: horses, dairy goats, cats, and chickens. I have also completed a separate internship with a different dairy goat farm.

I have completed all of the coursework for the master gardener program and am in the process of getting the volunteer hours in as well.

I am not currently running a farming operation, but I do manage a large backyard garden as well as keep several chickens. I have dabbled in beekeeping on my property as well.

Please elaborate on the type(s) of agricultural operation you plan on running.

I aim to run an organic, regenerative agricultural operation. I am interested in maintaining diversity on the property, where each component strengthened another: animals for milk, meat, and fiber as well as all the standard market fruits and vegetables.

In addition to the agricultural production of the property, I also aim to incorporate an educational component through the creation of a folk school where customers can learn about traditional skills.

We are a young family committed to a sustainable agricultural future both for ourselves and for our children. We look forward to working and learning together with you!

Ideally, I would love to purchase the property. I'm open to discussing a transition strategy that will be mutually beneficial.
