I developed a passion for farming early while working on my grandpa's farm and ranch. There, I learned the value of hard work and the importance of honesty and integrity in the agricultural industry.
My educational led me to USU, where I met my wife Leah and pursued a degree in Animal Science and Ag Business. She pursued a degree in Ag Business and Accounting, setting us up to be a great team. During our time there, our dedication to the farming and livestock industry grew stronger. Part of that experience lead us to an internship on a cattle ranch in Leadore, ID. After our internship, we found the opportunity to return and rent the family farm in 2015 and started H3 Farms LLC.
After a few years, we transitioned from growing barley to forage crops; alfalfa hay, orchard/cache meadow brome grass, and straw that is purchased out of the windrow. With our current lineup of equipment it made sense to put it to work off the farm doing custom hay in area and up to 150 miles away. We decided to make this shift to better align our business with our passion for the livestock industry. We have been looking for the right opportunity to purchase a home base of our own and raise our family there.
